The benefit of picking up a Midwest Industries AR-15 Lightweight Upper Receiver is that youll also pick up one of the companys Combat Rail Handguards. I thought the dimples were a bit weird but it gives your fingers a partial indent when you grip it. The Magpul FDE matches the FDE furniture by them. If you’re on the fence about buying one just do it, I honestly think they are the best quality to price ratio rails in the industry I own two combat rails in 15” and 12.6”lengths and one 14” slim line along with a bcm mcmr and prefer my Midwest industries rails in fit and finish and ease of install and taking off to service the rifle.
